Resumen

The realistic simulation of mass casualty incidents proved to be an effective pedagogical strategy, allowing Nursing students to experience a scenario highly close to reality. The technical support, the availability of resources, ambulances, appropriate equipment, and makeup simulating injuries contributed to a complete and enriching experience. This structure favored not only the development of technical skills but also the capacity for decision-making in highly complex situations. Thus, the study confirms the value of this methodology as an essential tool in professional training.
