The The challenges of ensuring the effectiveness of the Publicity Principle in access and service to citizens within the Brazilian Social Security system.
Abstract
This study seeks to analyze the challenges posed by the full application of the principle of
publicity to ensure transparency and accessibility in the social security sector, which is
responsible for protecting its beneficiaries during difficult times. It uses qualitative data based
on the legal framework, doctrines, and articles relevant to the chosen topic as a theoretical
framework. From this perspective, the importance of this study lies in the social scenario
unfolding in practice, since issues such as misinformation, the complexity of virtual service
structures, and the digital divide, as well as the lack of humanization, highlight the exclusion
of minority groups due to the lack of universal public policies that reach all segments of
society. In summary, it is also pertinent to raise the issue of system modernization and the
informational reach of new technologies that foster socioeconomic disparities in the Brazilian
legal system.
