Abstract

The Systematization of Nursing Care (SAE) is an essential tool for professional practice, as it organizes the care process and ensures that the nurse’s actions are based on scientific evidence and ethical-humanistic principles. Its application is regulated by the Federal Nursing Council, which establishes that the Nursing Process must be carried out in all settings where care is provided, including inpatient units such as surgical wards.
