Implementação do Processo de Enfermagem no Atendimento ao Paciente Hospitalizado

Abstract

The present work presents an experiential report, developed in a hospital environment, which aims to demonstrate the first impressions and challenges faced by nursing students when putting into practice all the theory built in the classroom. It began with the development of a data collection instrument, allowing students to obtain an initial analysis of the routine for collecting medical history and physical examination. After completing the first step, the next phase involved clinical practice with the patient, where it was possible to experience the nursing routine, including patient care, access to reports, and data collection. During the supervised practice, some difficulties were observed, such as the lack of privacy for conducting an examination discreetly; however, the positive impact of applying theoretical knowledge in practice was noted. This report highlights the importance of the nursing process as an instrument for the systematization of the assistance provided to the patient, as well as the experience for the construction of experiences with future professionals, aiding in the improvement of critical thinking and better contact with the routine and reality of nursing professionals.
